AQA A Psychology Psya4 Phobic Disorders June 2014 Predictions

Next up in my predictions is Psya4 Phobic disorders for the AQA A Psychology June 2014 exam. As always – revise everything to cover yourself, these are by no means certain or set in stone but merely my own “guesstimates”.

Psya4 Phobic Disorders Possible Questions

The pattern of questions follows the same as usual – You can only be asked the same style of questions regardless of what topic you’re working on. Looking at this we then break this down to possible essay questions that can be asked, what has come up and when using the predictions table created below:

My AQA Psychology Psya4 Phobic Disorders Predictions For June 2014

Looking at this table it makes pretty uncomfortable reading if i’m honest. The questions that have come up recently haven’t been single targeted full essay questions which means they are always open to be asked again as full essays and can’t be fully written off. This makes predicting particularly difficult for this topic and almost anything goes.

  • Clinical characteristics for Phobic Disorders look like an almost certainty. Its unlikely to be a full essay question however but it looks overdue to pop up as a small one.
  • Biological explanations for phobic disorders looks very possible as its the only one that hasn’t come up recently last making an appearance in June 2012 and all the other essays have technically come up.
  • Biological OR Psychological therapies for phobic disorders – These were only asked as broad questions and technically worth only 12 marks each – my gut tells me one of these can come up as a specific question this time.

Psya4 Phobic Disorders is a hard one is hard to call..

Normally the pattern of questions makes questions more easily predictable and based on what my gut and pattern of past questions tells me – the questions above are what I would be expecting if a normal predictable pattern was to be followed. However AQA never make it that obvious and any possible question here is literally open to be asked so please revise everything properly.

Those are my thoughts – what are yours?
