Cognition and development predictions June 2015
Last but not least for Psya3 is my Cognition and development predictions for this June 2015 exam. Always revise everything – don’t leave it to chance or my predictions alone, you would be mad to. Lets take an overview of the cognition and development topic itself below:
Ok this seems like a pretty straight forward topic. Why on earth do schools pick cognition and development though? I can never understand this considering its the least popular and there tends to be less resources for it online or help from other students in forums as its so under-taught…who knows.
Breaking down the possible essays we then put this into our predictions table below.
Cognition and development predictions
- Kohlberg’s theory of moral understanding: Last appeared in June 2011 as a 12 marker. Thats 6 exam windows since its made any appearance – surely it’s due one?
- Biological explanations of social cognition: Last appeared in June 2011 too and again wasn’t a full essay. Same reasons above – 6 exam windows and not a sniff again since – revise this.
- Piaget’s theory of cognitive development: Appeared 4 exam windows ago as a full essay showing it can be a big one. This is within the realms of possibility as its only ever appeared once too.
- Applications of cognitive development theories into education (Outsider chance): This ones my outsider chance. It appeared 2 exam windows ago but wasn’t a full essay. Before that it’s never appeared. It has to be considered as our wildcard.
And that’s it! Cognition and development predictions for June 2015 done and dusted! Thats all my psya3 predictions done – I hope they help. Psya4 is coming later this week. I need a rest now.
